- Description
- Add the following to the Description of the RFQ R6-GIP-5-001 Bridge Inspections INSTRUCTION TO OFFERORS ? A&E SERVICE ? BRIDGE DESIGN Submit all offers on Standard Form 330, both electronically and in hard copy. For hard copy submittal, three copies total are required. Electronic documents can be mailed to ysterud@fs.fed.us or to cabrown-collins@fs.fed.us. Mark all documents as proprietary information. Award of contracts will incorporate winning firm?s SF 330 by reference. After award, no substitution of personnel listed in the SF 330 will be allowed without prior written approval from the Contracting Officer. A contract award may be made for specialty work only, in fields of specialized work such as underwater bridge inspections, fracture critical bridge inspections, bridge scour assessments, bridge and lookout damage assessments, wire rope inspection skills, specialized climbing and access skills for bridges (an under bridge inspection truck can not get to many Forest Service bridges) and lookouts, ability to perform on-site NDT inspection services and/or laboratory testing analysis of bridge components, specialized bridge rating skills, specialized bridge design skills, to name a few. Firms with only these specialized skills are encouraged to submit SF 330s. After selection of firms for award, rates for awarded work, including overhead rates, will be required.
