- The purpose of this amendment is to address potential offerors questions. Question 1: What is the apparent temperature difference between the background and the plume? Answer to Question 1: The exhaust plumes are typically 2000-3000K, i.e. an order of magnitude above the background. Question 2: Do you need to see the background imagery around the plume or is it satisfactory to present an image of the plume against a dark background? Answer to Question 2: Resolution of the background imagery around the plume is required, since the purpose of the camera is to get an "eyes on" view of the point of origin (POO).
