Description
This Synopsis Amendment reflects a change in acquisition strategy. The United States Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) intends to acquire AS-3900A/VRC and S-3916/VRC Antennas and spares P/O the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS) Installation kits, installed in wheeled vehicles. This requirement shall be manufactured IAW the statement of work using all associated drawings for dimension guidance. The corresponding solicitation number is W15P7T-05-R-L601. Solicitati on will include first article testing and various data items as required. The Government intends to competitively award one or more five (5) year Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract(s). This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside. CECOM intends to procure the following items - NSN 5985-01-308-8988, AS-3900A/VRC antenna; NSN 5985-01-306-8110, Lower Antenna Element; NSN 5985-01-306-4622, Upper Lower Antenna; NSN 5985-01-353-8696, Base; NSN 5985-01-353 -4943, AS-3916/VRC Antenna; NSN 5985-01-376-8012, Base. Minimum award on each contract is estimated at $1,000,000.00 worth of AS-3900A/VRC, AS-3916/VRC antennas and/or associated spares; cumulative maximum for all contracts awarded under this solicitation for the life of the contracts is estimated not to exceed $60,000,000.00. The solicitation and all of its related attachments will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) at https://abop.monmouth. army.mil on or about 15 February 2005. ALL PROPOSAL SUBMISSIONS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE THROUGH THE IBOP. Offerors are encouraged to visit the IBOP frequently for release of solicitation documents and updates to this information. See numbered notes 1 and 26.
