Description

Technical Questions: Mr.Robert Smith, 912-652-5706 Contractual Questions: Ms. Kosha Jones, 912-652-5108 Description of work: This solicitation is to construct a company headquarters building housing two small sized companies at Fort Bragg, NC. These facilities should include workspace and offices to support the units operations. The building will consist o f a two story steel framed brick veneer on concrete slab company headquarters building to include: intrusion detection systems for arms rooms and vaults, fire protection and detection systems, conference room, individual offices, classroom, classified doc ument storage vault, latrines, communications, computer capabilities, electrical outlets, life safety code compliance, 95 spaces of privately owned vehicle parking, landscaping, and other site improvements. Air conditioning: 161 KW (46 tons). Options wi ll not be included in the contract. This project will be solicited and procured using a Performance-Price Trade-Off (PPT) Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.101-1. Offerors are required to submit a price and technical proposal. Each proposal shall contain the offerors best technical proposal and best price. Price will not be scored, but will be a factor in establishing the competitive range prior to discussions (if held) and in making the final be st value determination for award. PRICE is equal in importance to ALL TECHNICAL FACTORS when combined. Relative importance among technical factors. Factor 1. Corporate Relevant Specialized Experience: This factor is significantly more important than F actor 2. Factor 2: Construction Past Performance. The anticipated cost range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Network Analysis will be required. This solicitation is issued on an 8(a) competitive basis. COMPETITION WILL BE LIMITED TO 8(a) FIRMS SERVICED BY SBA REGION IV DISTRICT OFFICES (GA, AL, NC, SC, TN, MS, FL, KY) OR MUST HAVE AN ESTABLISHED, VERIFIABLE FULL TIME BRANCH OFFICE (AS DEFINED BY SBA) WITHIN REGION IV WHICH HAVE 236220 AMONG THEIR APPROVED NAICS. This solicitation will be issued in elect ronic format only and will be available on or about 16 February 2005 on the Internet at http://ebs.sas.usace.army.mil. Notification of amendments will be through use of the Internet. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc.) will be provide d.
