- This announcement is for informational purposes only. The Government intends to negotiate and award a contract on a sole source basis to BCSL, Inc. for an expansion of communication assets to the previously installed communication infrastructure. The expansion requires compatible installation of commo equipment in additional aircraft and Port Authority and Maritime watercraft; the centralization of communication assets for Maritime and Air Wing in a single communication center and training for additional crews and management personnel. BCSL, Inc provided the original equipment and training under a competitively awarded purchase order in January 2004 and, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2) (ii) is the sole responsible source for this requirement . If any interested party wishes to be considered, please submit sufficient product detail and past performance history so that the Government can adequately evaluate to determine if it can meet the requirement. This information must be received by 4 pm ET, February 8, 2005 to the attention of Mary Pat Hayes-Crow at hayes-crowmp2@state.gov.
