- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has need for a material order for the baghouse, specifically 1,000 filter bags with galvanized D-caps, bags are 5" x 198" with compression band on the top, double cuff at the bottom, with 6 anti-collapse rings, with acid resistant finish; 1,000 6" ph 17.7 stainless steel springs - 50 foot pounds of pressure; 1,000 clevis pin, steel, 3/16" diameter X 3" long; and 1,000 stainless steel (304 stainless) clamps 4" to 6" diameter. The company must be: ISO9001 to ensure quality of material; the springs must be shot peened and passivated for additional strength and reliability; must utilize a 301 lock-stitch on the anti-collapse ring stitching; and must offer a 12-month warranty on material and workmanship of the filter bags. Solicitation package issued under number MLM00HCC112-2005-18265 including a detailed list of specifications will be available on or about February 22, 2005. Simplified Acquisition Procedures requiring written quotations will be utilized.
