Description
The following Indefinite Delivery Type Contract(IDTC)is anticipated: Coveralls, Mechanics, Desert Tan. Qty: 50,000 (Min); 100,000 (Max) Ea. Two one-year term options will be included with a minimum of 50,000 Ea and a maximum of 100,000 Ea. This procurement will be issued as a TOTAL SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. Coveralls will be produced FOB destination to SNT (New Cumberland, Pa). Applicable sepecifications for the Coveralls, Mechanics, Desert Tan is MIL-DTL-32082 dated 01 May 2001 with pattern dated 08 Jan 2003. Copies of the specs can be found at Http://assist.daps.dla.mil. The PGC Code is 02300. NSN for the Coveralls is 8415-01-430-2313(s). Production lead time is 150 days after date of award with 6 deliveries. Best Value Source Selection will be utilized. Offerors are to submit their technical proposals with documentation for the following technical factors: Product Demonstration Model (PDM), Experience/Past Performance and DLA Mentoring Business Agreements. The solicitation will be issued on or before 28 Feb 2005 (estimate). Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil AFTER 28 Feb 2005 (Estimated). Important Note on Foreign Content. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment" impose restrictions on the DOD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and "speciality metals" (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
