- This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-27. This acquisition is a 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS code for the requirement is 337211. The size standard is 500 employees or less. The Center for Domestic Preparedness has a requirement for Emergency Operation Command Center Furniture. Items are as follows: 0001 -24? X 30? Command Center Console, Standard height, Units shall be arranged to form a ?V?-shaped unit as depicted in attachment #1 Layout of Furniture. No ?U?-shaped arrangement shall be accepted. Each console shall have a recessed area for computer monitor to reduce visual obstruction. Only items to be mounted on console will be a telephone, computer monitor, mouse and computer keyboard. Console shall have a mounting cradle for a docking station for a Dell _ _ installed underneath the console. Each console shall have a cable management system for telephone and LAN cables and a power strip to support the proposed equipment. The consoles shall be arranged to and capable of accepting network and phone cables pulled from a central location for the ?V?-shaped arrangement. Furniture shall have a dark cherry finish. Furniture shall be of a traditional, executive type style. There is no requirement for drawers or trays. (8) each; 0002 - 6? X 3? Supervisor?s Console, This item shall be the head piece for the proposed ?V?-shaped arrangement. It should be capable of seating three individuals. This unit shall be provided with all the requirements listed above. Each individual?s seat shall support the use of a computer system. There is no requirement for drawers or trays. (1) each; 0003 - 42? X 10? Conference Table, Conference table shall be of the same style and finish as the items listed above. A fixture shall be supplied in the middle of the table to allow for connection of a laptop computer to the local area network and a power supply and provide a connection for a telephone unit. This fixture will be such that it is flush with the table surface when not in use. The conference table shall be sized suitable for use by 10 people with appropriate spacing between individuals seated using executive conference chairs. The conference table shall have a cable management system for the LAN, telephone and power cables to be supplied to this unit only. (1) each; 0004 - 6' Freestanding Storage Credenza, Unit shall be 6-feet tall with full-length doors. Unit shall be used to store administrative supplies. Credenzas shall be of the same style and finish as previously listed products. (2) each; 0005 - 5? Workstation, Workstation will be of a size to accommodate two people with appropriate spacing between individuals. Workstation shall be supplied with a recessed monitor well to reduce visual obstruction. Unit shall be supplied with a method of connecting a telephone to be stationed on the desktop. Each unit shall have a cable management system and a power strip to support two sets of computer equipment per workstation. It is proposed that each unit shall be used in conjunction with a normal desktop computer system (by others) vice a laptop and docking station; No mounting kit is required underneath the workstation. There is no requirement for drawers or trays. (4) each; 0006 - 4? X 48? Standard Bookcase, Bookcase shall be of the same finish and style as the previous items. (1) each; 0007 - 8? Administrative Desk, The administrative desk will be sized for two individuals with all the appropriate spacing between individuals. The desktop shall be flat with no recessed monitor well. The desk will be supplied with a cable management system for telephone and LAN connection and a power strip for two sets of computer equipment. There is no requirement for drawers or trays. Administrative Desk shall be of the same style and finish as previous items. (1) each; 0008 - 8? Administrative Hutch, Hutch shall be a full-height storage unit with full-length doors, and in the same style and finish as previous items. (1) each; 0009 - 4? Freestanding Storage Credenza. Storage credenza shall be approximately 48-inches in height; have full length doors and be of the same style and finish as previous items.(1) each; 0010 - 42? Security Desk. Security desk shall be approximately 48-inches in length and seat one person. The desk shall have a flat desktop with no recessed areas. The desk shall be capable of receiving both telephone and LAN cables to support a desktop computer system. There is no requirement for drawers or trays. The desk shall be of the same style and finish as previous items. (1) each; 0011 - Docking Station Racks, (10) each; 0012 - Installation charges; 0013 - Freight Charges. The specifications are Wood Furniture, Wild Cherry Color. Delivery should be within 30 days of receipt of order.
