- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to address potential offerors questions. Question 1: NRL lists Item #18 for specified range performance to detect a standard tank target (NATO standard: 2.3m by 2.3m panel), which must provide DETECTION at 20Km range of said target: a. Is detection specified here in the WIDE or NARROW field of view? b. What is the percent probability assigned to NRL’s detection criteria? c. What is the temperature delta between the said target panel and the background? Answer to Question 1: a: Detection can be using Narrow Field Of View or Wide Field Of View at the vendor’s discretion. b and c: The detection criteria did not assign percent probability or temperature delta. Vendor may apply industry standard values Question 2: NRL lists Item #5 for stabilization to require a “Dynapel Steady Eye SE” model or equivalent. According to Dynapel all current Dynapel model numbers are a series of numbers and letters. Please clarify the Dynapel Model number, whether it is desktop or rack-mount configuration, and the number of channels desired. Answer to Question 2: Item #5 on the specifications is hereby deleted in its entirety.
