- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to procure support for the Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response/Emergency Response and Removal Division for fast, responsive environmental cleanup services for hazardous subsances/wastes/contaminants/ materials and petroleum products/oil in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.The Request For Proposals (RFP) is expected to be issued on FedBizOpps on or about December 03, 2004. The RFP will be available on EPA website http://www.epa.gov/oam/srpod/index.htm. after the date the notice is posted. This procurement will be set-aside for small businesses. The resultant contract will be a Fixed Rate/ Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract, with an expected value between $9,000,000 and $11,000,000 over a 60-month period of performance. The expected labor hour utilization for the contract ranges between 57,000 and 59,000 regular hours and between 8,400 and 8,600 overtime hours over the 60-month period of performance. The NAICS code for this procurement is 562910, with a size standard of 500 employees. Please do not submit proposals in response to this announcement.
