Description
NAICS Code: 514191 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Climate Protection Partnerships Division (CPPD) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Platts for a core membership that will provide an integrated package of informational products and services related to green energy and small business. CPPD manages several voluntary partnership programs that encourage energy efficiency in the marketplace. To meet these goals CPPD relies on up-to-date, unbiased information services for the retail energy markets, services and technologies. Platts is the world's largest energy information provider, specializing in news, prices, data, analysis, analytical tools, geospacial systems, research and consultancy for the complete spectrum of the energy industry. They provide information services designed for utilities, energy service providers, and energy customers which focuses on retail energy markets, services, and technologies. As such, they are uniquely positioned to provide this information quickly and concisely. They provide information on developments in the energy services marketplace, sorting through volumes of information to provide CPPD with concise strategic insights and in-depth technology assessments. They possess an extensive research team capable of tapping into an unparalled network of contacts. They also possess unique associations with both energy service providers and corporate energy users which gives them a broad, multi-faceted perspective. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 514191. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 5 calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to the compete the proposed requirement based upon this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
