Description
The scope of work requires the contractor to perform Antenna, Tower and Grounding Systems Maintenance at the following locations: 1.NYS Armory, 330 Old Niskayuna Road, Latham, NY 12110. 2.AASF #3, 330A Old Niskayuna Road, Latham, NY 12110. 3. NYS Armory, 1765 Hanshaw Road, Ithaca, NY 14850. 4.NYS Armory, 6900 Thompson Road, Syracuse, NY 13211. 5.NYS Armory, 184 Connecticut St., Buffalo, NY 14213. 6.NYS Armory, 250 Weidner Rd., Rochester, NY 14624. 7.AASF #2, 280 Weidner Road, Rochester, NY 14624. 8. Camp Smith Training Site, Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567. 9.Guilderland Rifle Range, New Karner Road, Albany, NY. 10. NYS Armory, State Road, Saranac Lake, NY 12983. 11. N YS Armory, 16 Fairgrounds Ave., Morrisonville, NY 12962. Work generally consists of: A. Towers: Maintenance and Replacement of Marker Bulbs, Galvanized Painting of tower as required, check or re-seal tar pots as required, assure tower is plumb, maintain/re place guide wires, turn buckles, and antenna mounting brackets. B.Grounding System: Check/Maintain Tower Grounds, Cadweld ground wires, secure all grounds/RG13 cable to buildings, Cadweld ground wires to grounding rods.C.Antenna Maintenance: Maintain/Repla ce Helix Cable, connectors and blitz plug, maintain seals of box for blitz plug and connections. The proposed contract type is firm fixed price. The proposed contract period is one (1) base year, with four (4) one-year option periods to be exercised at t he discretion of the Government. The estimated dollar magnitude of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. The applicable NAICS Code is 811213, with a small business size standard of $6,000,000. The procurement is 100% set aside for small busin ess concerns as per FAR 19.502-2. The issue date for the RFQ is scheduled for on or around February 7, 2005, with a due date of on or around February 28, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. local time.
