Description
Description: The Directorate of LogisticsWashington (DOL-W) has a requirement for the acquisition of Logistical and Administrative Support for DOL-W, and Department of Defense customers. The U.S. Army intends to procure under a Request for Proposal (RFP) a competed acquisition for management, moving and transportation services. The contractor sh all provide all labor, vehicles, equipment, and materials necessary for moving services for storage and warehouse operations. The contractor shall be prepared to perform all services required during normal working hours as well as being ready to work durin g non-working hours when called upon. The services will be performed at the Pentagon, Ft Belvoir and Alexandria, VA, and other Defense activities located within the National Capitol Region (NCR). There will be occasional requirements outside of the NCR suc h as deliveries to Ft. Meade MD, Richmond and Norfolk, VA. The Government intends to make one award to the responsible offeror. The contract will be for a base year with four (4) one-year options. This requirement is for a 8a Set-Aside. The primary NAICS c ode is 561210, the secondary code is 48411. A solicitation will be issued to permit the award of task/delivery orders under a time and materials and /or firm fixed price effort. All responsible 8a certified businesses may submit a proposal that will be con sidered by this agency. Offers shall be submitted in both hard and electronic copies at the time and place specified in the solicitation. Proposals shall be submitted directly to the contract specialist.
