Description: The contracting office at White Sands Missile Range, NM intends to award a sole source contract to CIYASOFT, 1201 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Suite 300, Washington, DC 2004 2425 to complete their design of optical character recognition software for handwri tten documents in Arabic-based languages. Under a previous contract, CIYASOFT has already achieved 15 percent accuracy in their OCR software development and this contract will continue the development in phases to an ultimate goal of 90 percent accuracy. The use of any other source would require the duplication of funds already invested to achieve 15 percent accuracy. Interested parties must respond NLT 10:00 am MT, 2 Feb 2005. See Note 22.
