- Description
- The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL, is planning a workshop, with wireless communication companies at Eglin AFB. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY-NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED OR SOLICITED. We want to gauge the demand for wireless communication antennas on the base and, if required, identify potential antenna locations. We will provide mission constraints for main base antenna locations and the latest information on future base housing locations. After the presentation we will ask the providers to take the information back to their planners and respond back with any additional antenna locations required to satisfy the coverage needs. The location and time will be provided to all registrants NLT 18 February 2005.
