- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for Tyndall AFB for the following commercial items: Brand name or equal Item 1: 3-Bay, self-service, coin operated car wash Non-Personal services to furnish all parts, tools, equipment, transportation, and labor necessary to repair car wash located at the skills development center. Contractor will remove old equipment and replace/refurbish with new equipment. Some of the equipment in place is as follows: 3 wash pump units- pump, motor, stainless steel stands, transformer, starter, soap, and wax solenoid valves and V-belts. Wall mount 3 Bay Foam Brush system 3 Foam Brush booms, foam, brushes, handles, hoses, foam generators including new tubing and hoses as needed. 3 overhead Zirco boom assemlies. 3 compartment stainless steel water tanks with stand and float valve. Wash instruction signs 3 high-pressure spray wands with trigger gun, hose, and tips. 2 hydrominders. Overhead high pressure hoses Plumbing fittings and fasteners Rebuild bay doors with new selector switches and coin mechanisms. Replace all ??PVC braided hoses Replace all ?? PVC braided hoses This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 811192 applies to this procurement. The small business size standard is: $6M. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-25 and Defense Change Notice 20041215. FOB: Destination for delivery to Bldg 928 Minnesota Ave, Tyndall AFB, FL 32403. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation.
