- This project is for tree planting and hand release, one line item for tree planting of 97 acres and a line item for a 5 foot radius hand release of competing vegetation around approximately 19000 trees in the same area. The project is located on the Mendocino National Forest, Upper Lake Ranger District in Lake County, California. A prebid tour of the project area is scheduled for 2/23/05, meeting at 8:00am at Upper Lake Ranger Station located at 10025 Elk Mtn. Road, Upper Lake, CA 95485. Size Standard: $6 million. Estimated start date for the planting is 3/15/05, with a contract time of 14 days and the estimated start date for the hand release is 5/15/05 with a contract time of 31 days. The solicitation will be posted on this website approximately February 14, with an expected due date for receipt of offers of March 3, 2005.
