- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for a contractor to furnish all labor and equipment to clean horse corrals and replace surface material on an as-needed basis. The period of performance will be from June 1, 2005 through May 31, 2006, with four one-year option periods. The work consists of scraping and cleaning all pens at the Palomino Valley National Wild Horse and Burro Center and hauling the manure off-site. The work also includes loading, hauling and replacement of pit-run materials. Pit-run materials will be provided by the Government and may be stock piled at various locations on-site, until it is needed. The work is located in Washoe County, Nevada. Public or private access roads damaged by the Contractor shall be restored, at the Contractor's expense, to the same condition they were in at the commencement of work. One award will be made as a result of this solicitation and task orders will be issued on an as-needed basis throughout the life of the contract. The estimated number of cubic yards to be removed in the base year is 20,000. The estimated number of hours to be ordered for loading and hauling pit run material for the base year is 100. A site visit has been scheduled for March 2, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. Attendees will meet with John Neill (775) 475-2222 at the BLM Palomino Valley Wild Horse Center, 15780 SR 445, Reno, NV 89510. This requirement is 100% set aside for small businesses under NAICS 562119. Solicitation NAR050027 will be available at http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about February 9, 2005. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided.
