THIS MODIFICATION REPLACES PREVIOUS ASFI SYNOPSIS NOTICE PUBLISHED 27 JANUARY 05. DESC: THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE USED AS A MARKET RESEARCH TOOL. THE GOVERNMENT MAY HAVE A NEED TO PURCHASE AN ALIGNMENT GUIDE ASSEMBLY, IN SUPPORT OF THE MK19 GMG FOR A QUANTITY OF 715 EACH. NSN: 1010-01-129-1235, Part Number 3269403. The item to procur e is an ALIGNMENT GUIDE ASSEMBLY, (NSN: 1010-01-129-1235) USED ON MK19 MOD3 40MM MACHINE GUN. C/O: ALIGNMENT GUIDE, 3269458: SPRING, 3269468; PIN, 3269454; FLAT HEAD SCREW, 5526211; AND LOCKING COMPOUND, MIL-S-22473. MATERIAL IS STEEL, 4130 THRU 4142. END ITEM IS MK19 GMG (40 MM GRENADE LAUNCHER). FOB is DESTINATION. The purpose of this notice is to identify and establish initial interest and points of contract from private industry. This information may be used to design acquisition strategy to include s ocioeconomic program support. It may also help to identify and establish commercial practices available to the Government. Any responses to this notice should include the following: company name, point of contact, address, telephone and fax numbers, e-m ail address, brief description of company/capabilities, experience areas, history, duns number, cage code and/or tax ID number, as well as size category (large/small disadvantaged, etc). Also provide any supporting information such as commercial literatur e, catalogues, manuals, etc. No solicitation will be issued at this time. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government will in no way be obligated to purchase al l or part of the items designated above and is providing this information as general information only. The U.S. Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued.
