Description: The contracting office at White Sands Missile Range, NM is preparing to award a sole source contract to L-3 Microdyne, 1515 Grundy's Lane, Bristol, PA 19007 for a RCB-2000 Dual Receiving System and an option to purchase 3 additional systems over the next two years. These systems are direct replacement modules to be installed in sites that are already wired and configured for these sytems. The use of any other system would require the investment of considerable costs for rewiring and reconfiguring. Any interested party must respond no later than 2:00 pm MT on 1 Feb 2005. See note 22.
