- The Department of Veterans Affair, VISN 7, Columbia, SC intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, The VA intends to negotiate a Consignment Agreement with Medtronic USA Inc. for estimated quantities of Coronary Products for the VA Medical Center, Columbia, SC. The NAICS code is 339112 a size standard 500 Employees. The contract period will be for Base year with (2) one year options. This notice of intent is not a REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interessted parties may indentify their interest and capability by submitting literature and documentation detailing their experience in providing these products, to the Contracting Officer via e-mail Bruce.Jones@med.va.gov or fax at 334-395-4042. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received not later than 4:30PM, February 03, 2005.
