Description
POINT OF CONTACT: Rose Marie S. Mendoza, Contracting Officer, 817-222-4338; Michael Page, Contract Administrator, 817-222-4396 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified Small Business construction contractors interested in providing offers to construct and install three PAPIs for Runway 3, 30L, and 30R, San Antonio International Airport, Texas. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 237310. The estimated price range is between $250,000 - $500,000. Contract performance time is 90 calendar days. The work consists of, but is not limited to, the installation of the lighting and grounding protection system, construction of concrete foundations, establish asphalt/ gravel access road with Geotextile per construction and standard drawings. The Contractor is responsible to locate and determine all existing utility line before trenching for power lines, grounding system and concrete foundations to avoid any damage to any existing utilities. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at 12:00 P.M. (CST) at the San Antonio Air Traffic Control Tower, 9434 Airport Boulevard, San Antonio, Texas. The Request for Offer (RFO) package is expected to be available to small business contractors on or about February 3, 2005. Contractors must submit their request for this RFO to this office no later than 4:30 P.M. (CST), February 2, 2005. Request for Offer will be issued to the first SEVEN general contractors. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Contractors must provide name of company, physical mailing address, telephone number and fax number.
