- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with DATAPAK associates, Inc. Kitty Hawk, NC for the New Generation Blade Restraint System (NGBRS) P/N 0100-0000, rev 1, qty two (2) for the MH-60 program. The NGBRS consist of composite materials and special coating that will not corrode. The NGBRS will be used for Sea Trial testing and evaluation. Required delivery date is 31 May, 2004. The proposed acquisition is for Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) for which the Government does not own drawings or specification. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See note 22.
