- NAICS Code 517110 - Facilities-Based Telecommunication Carriers (except wireless): In accordance with FAR Part 5.101, Dissemination of Information, the attached solicitation package, Amendment 01, and Amendment 02 of the solicitation are hereby provided in the FBO to enhance competition and to provide GSA answers to previously submitted industry questions. All interested Offerors must be Facilities-Based Telecommunication Carriers (except wireless). The solicitation is a Procurement Not Aside (unrestricted), Request for Proposal, as approved by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) on 11/29/04. Despite the FBO not providing a vendor's link to DOL wage determinations, Offerors may access the DOL web site to find applicable DOL wage determinations. The DOL web site is www.wdol.gov. Instructions for getting wage determinations through the DOL web site are as follows: 1. Under SCA, click "Selecting SCA WDs". 2. Select state and county then click continue. 3. Answer No to the question: Were these services performed at this locality under an SCA-Covered contract? 4. Answer No to the question: Are the contract services to be perform listed below as Non-Standard services? 5. Scroll down to review the WD carefully by looking up 23125 (Engineering Tech IV), 23930 (Telecommunications Mechanic I), and 29084 (Cable Splicer). Consequently, as stated in Amendment 02, the receipt of additional written questions to the Contracting Officer is hereby extended to Tuesday, 2/8/05, and the proposal due date is hereby extended to Thursday, 3/10/05 (see attached).
