- NAICS Code: 541990 (Presolicitation Notice is amended to delete the requirement of knowledge and experience with Access softweare. All other portions of the announcement remain unchanged.) The United States Environmental Protection Agency, under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 13, is soliciting competitive offers for recent MS graduate or pre-doctoral personal services in support of the National Homeland Security Research Center (NHSRC) Systems Modeling Team in the design and development of GIS repositories for spatial analysis of drinking water distribution systems. Applicants must be recent MS graduates or current PhD candidates in science, engineering, computer science, geography or community planning, or related curriculum, with demonstrated knowledge and experience with GIS tools, specifically ESRI ArcGIS 9.0 tools. The applicant should also be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Applicants must be citizens of the United States and agree to a background investigation. The principal duty station location is Andrew W. Breidenbach Environmental Research Center, Cincinnati, OH. Authority for this acquisition is pursuant the Fiscal Year 2003 Consolidated Appropriations Resolution which authorized ORD to acquire personal services through temporary or intermittent student/recent graduate services. A copy of the announcement detailing all particulars is anticipated to be released on or about February 3, 2005, with quotations due on or about February 25, 2005.
