Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request of Quotation (RFQ); the number is W15P7T-05-Q-L411. This acquisition will be processed non-competitively and there is only one responsible source: C OMTECH/EF DATA, 2114 W. 7th Street, Tempe, AZ 85281-7227. The Government intends to procure the following item: Satellite Modem, NSN 5895-01-463-9474, part number SDM300A-726, and quantity of 20 each. Packaging and packing shall be in accordance with Mil itary Standards. Delivery shall be within 90 days after contract award. The Government will accept incremental deliveries. The provisions and clauses that are applicable to this acquisition are as follows: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications  Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Condit ions  Commercial Items, and FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders  Commercial Items. Additional terms and conditions applicable to this solicitation are as follows: DFARS 252.212-7001, FAR 52.227-0 1 Authorization and Consent, and DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Notification. This acquisition is a DO rated order. Offers are due no later than 01 February 2005, 1:00PM Eastern Standard Time.
