Description
Amendment A001 (attached) issued 1/24/05 to change the closing date from Friday, 1/28/2005, to Thursday, 1/27/2005, at 12:00 p.m. CST. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the acquisition of ARC detectors critical to the operation of the ASR-9 radars. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. A single Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery type contract for a Base Year and four option years will be awarded for this requirement. SIR/RFO DTFAAC-05-R-51727, and the applicable attachments, is attached to this announcement. Any amendment(s) issued to this SIR/RFO will be published on this website. Therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. Interested offerors must include all the data and information requested in the SIR/RFO and then submit their original proposal. Non-conformance with the instructions provided may result in an unfavorable proposal evaluation. The date and time for receipt of responses is Friday, January 28, 2005, 3:30 p.m.CST. Facsimile responses are not permitted. In accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14 - Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals, any responses received after January 28, 2005, 3:30 p.m. CST will not be considered. Offerors are advised that due to the enhanced security measures implemented at the Aeronautical Center, access to the installation is limited. Overnight delivery of responses to this SIR could also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for special mail handling procedures now in place at the Aeronautical Center.
