Description

The U.S. Forest Service has a project for repair of storm damage on Zeb Alley Road in Jackson County, Cashiers, North Carolina on the Highlands Ranger District. The successful offeror will provide all equipment, labor, materials, tools, supervision, including safety and other incidentals necessary to complete the project. The work consists of the following: repair a fill slope slide, install corrugated steel curverts, and to install a government furnished cattleguard. This project shall be completed in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway projects and special project specifications (FP-03 Specifications). The NAICS code is 237310 and the size standard is $28.5M. The Government estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is unrestricted pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database as prescribed by FAR 52.204-7. CCR can be accessed via the internet at www.ccr.gov or via phone at 1-888-227-2423. Information on the site visit will be included with the posting of the Request for Quotations for this solicitation on January 31, 2005. The drawings for this project will be posted with the Solicitation or can be obtained by sending a written request with a check or money order for $25.00 payable to the USDA FOREST SERVISE to the address in Block 5A on the 1442.
