- Description
- The Northern District of Alabama, United States Marshals Service (USMS) is seeking small business concerns who can provide guard services, to include but not limited to, providing protection of federal prisoners while confined to a room at a hospital; while accompanying the prisoner to other areas of the hospital for treatment, test, etc, to prevent escape. It is the intent of the USMS to award a purchase order from January 1, 2005 through September 30, 2005. The total amount is not expected to exceed $80,000 for the entire contract period. The solicitation will be available on or after December 10, 2004, and will be distributed solely through Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.eps.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the aforementioned site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the aforementioned site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (06-DEC-2004).
