- USASOC, Fort Bragg, North Carolina has a requirement for the following supplies: 5,000 Each, UNIT CREST : DUI-JFK/JFK SPECIAL WAR (CLASS ?A? & BERET), 5,000 Each, UNIT CREST: DUI-SF SPECIAL FORCE, 2,000 Each, ARMY BRANCH OF SERVICE: SPECIAL FORCES (NS-E-229 (CLASS ?A?), 5,000 Each, OVALS: 1st SW TRN GRP/PO-001C (CLASS ?A?), 5,000 Each, FLASHES: 1st SW TRN GRP/PO001C (CLASS ?A?), ARMY PATCHES; SPECIAL WARFARE: 5,000 Each (P-JFKSW-F (CLASS ?A? UNIFORM), 5,000 Each, P-JFKSW-F (BDU UNIFORM), 5,000 Each, PT-104- AIRBORNE TAB (BDU UNIFORM), 5,000 Each, PT-101 ?AIRBORNE TAB (CLASS ?A) with Delivery No Later Than 25 February 2005. This is for the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Command and School (USAJFKSWCS), Fort Bragg, NC 28310. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITTUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. All quotes must reference the Request for Quotation number USZA92-05-T-0011. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-26. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with all applicable clauses and provisions. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 315999. Size Standard is 500 personnel. THIS WILL BE A FIRM FIXED PRICE TYPE CONTRACT. PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE: The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions are applicable to the acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers-Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, with the following evaluation factors inserted in paragraph ?a? of the provision: ?Quotes will be evaluated as to technical acceptability, past performance and price. ALL ITEMS MUST BE MADE BY A MANUFACTURER CERTIFIED BY THE INSTITUTE OF HERALDRY, 9325 GUNSTON ROAD, ROOM S112, FORT BELVOIR, VA 22060-5579 (Telephone: (703) 806-4985). The award will be made to lowest responsive quote from a responsible offeror?. Contractors are required to submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items and Defense Federal Acquisition Supplement (DFARS) 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items are applicable to this requirement and offerors shall include a completed copy of the Representations and Certifications with their bid. Quotes shall include: (1) original letter signed by an individual authorized to bind the organization, with a schedule of offered items/supplies/services to include unit price, proposed specifications and drawings (if applicable), (2) completed Representations and Certifications, and (3) acknowledgement of any amendments that may be issued.
