Description
Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition and Procurement Office intends to negotiate an firm fixed price (FFP) performance based service contract for Relocation, Move Planning and Coordination Services in support of the Pentagon Renovation & Construction Program Office (PENREN) Arlington, VA. The work shall include, but not limited to coordinating the tenant relocation process, in the areas of pre-move, move, and furniture activities and for other activities that support the tenant relocation effort, such as, maintaining oversight within the parameters established by the concept move plan; updating the concept move plan, acting as primary liason to tenants who are to be relocated, defining move parameters, identifying and resolving issues affecting the move sequence and schedule. All services will be rendered at the government site/facility. The Government will provide office space and equipment necessary. The contractor shall be required to perform some aspects of their work various locations in and around the immediate area of the Pentagon (approximately a 10 mile radius). The resulting contract will be from the date of award for 12 months with four (4) one-year options. This acquisition is being offered for competition limited to eligible 8(a) concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541611. Detailed requirement and/or a statement of work (SOW) will be specified in the solicitation. A draft Statement of Work is avialable for comment at http://renovation.pentagon.mil/businessopps.htm?#comp. Anticipated award date is March 30, 2005. The solicitation will be posted on the following websites http://renovation.pentagon.mil/ ; www.eps.gov. and http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential Offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at the aforementioned websites and this office no longer issues hard copy solicitations. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, in accordance with the solicitation, which shall be considered by the government. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor or nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. All offers must be received by the time stated and in the method authorized in the solicitation to be considered. Offers received after the stated time or in any unauthorized method will not be considered. Interested 8(a) firms are encouraged to obtain a copy of the solicitation as expeditiously as possible since the solicitation will be issued without further notice upon SBA acceptance of the requirement for the section 8(a) program. Comments or correspondence must be submitted in writing to the point of contact identified in this announcement. All such written correspondence must include company name, point of contact, announcement number, address, phone number, and email address (if available). Please be advised that all incoming mail is processed through the Pentagon?s Remote Delivery Facility, which may delay guaranteed morning deliveries to the evening; therefore, Offerors are forewarned that delivery by express mail carriers at 100 Boundary Channel Drive after the time stated will be considered late.
