- Description
- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) 1801 L Street, NW, Washington, DC 20507 contemplates the award of multiple firm fixed-price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) task order contracts that require mediators to perform mediation services for various EEOC District, Local and Area offices. Mediators will not have decision making authority. Mediators will assist the parties in settling their disputes before the EEOC. Mediators shall remain impartial to either party. Charges of employment discrimination to be mediated may involve numerous and interrelated issues, complex fact patterns, employers with large or small workforces. Mediation services are contemplated for the following EEOC District and Field Offices: 1. Atlanta, GA; 2. Baltimore, MD; 3. Birmingham, AL; 4. Charlotte, NC; 5. Chicago, IL; 6. Cleveland, OH; 7. Dallas, TX; 8. Denver, CO; 9. Detroit, MI; 10. Houston, TX; 11. Indianapolis, IN; 12. Los Angeles, CA; 13. Memphis, TN; 14. Miami, FL; 15. Milwaukee, WI; 16. New Orleans, LA; 17. New York, NY; 18. Philadelphia, PA: 19. Phoenix, AZ; 20. San Antonio, TX; 21. San Francisco, CA; 22. Seattle, WA; 23. St. Louis, MO; 24. Washington, DC. The specific address and point of contact for each location will be provided with the solicitation. The unit of issue per mediation is each. The Commission guarantees a minimum of 1 mediation for each contract, and the estimated maximum number of mediations per contract is 124 if all options are exercised. The Government does not guarantee a maximum quantity. Task Orders will be issued under each contract on a fixed price basis. The estimated period of performance for the basic contract is from the effective date of award through twelve (12) months with three (3) one-year (12 month) option periods. The NAICS code is 541110. The mediator must be a citizen of the United States, and offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov). Additional requirements will be further defined in the solicitation. The solicitation and all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the Government Point of Entry (GPE) at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. As such, no written, telephonic, facsimile or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will be honored. Interested parties can register at the aforementioned website to receive procurement announcements by e-mail. The Commission anticipates issuing a solicitation in early to mid January 2005. The closing date for the RFP will be thirty (30) calendar days after the issue date. The anticipated award date is March 15, 2005. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the GPE website for the solicitation and amendments. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Commission. Award(s) will be made based on best value.
