Description

The 45th Contracting Squadron, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, (CCAFS) FL announces the solicitation of the Corrosion Control and Protective Coatings requirement at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL with the possibility of some work being performed at Patrick Air Force Base, FL. This is a competitive unrestricted acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238320 with a size standard of $12M. The Government plans to award a Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract type contract using Performance-Price Tradeoff techniques. The performance period will be a basic twelve-month period with four twelve-month option years. The exercise of option years remains the Government?s unilateral right. The Magnitude of this acquisition is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The contract minimum is to be $200,000.00 with a maximum of approximately $4,000,000.00. The minimum guaranteed amount for the basic contract period of performance is $200,000.00. No minimum guaranteed amount will be given for the option periods. The Contractor or their subcontractors shall be licensed by the State of Florida or have an equivalent out-of-state license accepted by the State of Florida in all areas applicable to this contract. The contractor will provide all labor, tools, materials, transportation, equipment and supervision necessary to provide the work required. Contractor will perform surface repairs, preparation, and painting on exteriors and interiors of various facilities with color scheme to match the 45th Wing Facilities Excellence Plan. NOTE: FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE TO MAKE PAYMENTS UNDER A CONTRACT. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION, WHETHER BEFORE OR AFTER RFP CLOSING, WITH NO OBLIGATIONS TO THE OFFEROR BY THE GOVERNMENT. Estimated issue date for the solicitation is 15 Feb 05. Estimated date for receipt of proposals is 18 Mar 05, with an anticipated award date of 22 Apr 05 or sooner. The complete solicitation will only be available at www.eps.gov. No hard copies will be provided. It is the contractor?s responsibility to monitor the website for any changes or updates. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) (Internet site: http://www.ccr.gov), have completed Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov and submitted a VETS 100 report (See Internet site http://vets100.cudenver.edu) to be eligible for award.
