Description

This presolicitation is for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) interment (burial) flags. The Specifictations of the interment flags is a 5-foot host by 9-foot 6-inch fly flag in accordance with the Federal Specification DDD-F-416E dated November 27, 1981. In accordance with Public Law (P.L.) 105-261, Section 1073, the interment flags must be wholly produced in the United States. The Solicitation for the contract will be posted on or about February 4, 2005. this is part one of a two (2) phase acquisition, part one is for NISH vendors only. The commercial half of this synopsis will be posted to BOSS in the April May 2005 time frame. The proposed contract is expected to result in the award of a base year contract with the possibility of four (4), unilaterally exercised option Years.
