- The Department of Veterans Affairs Illiana Health Care System, 1900 East Main Street, Danville, Illinois 61832-5198 is seeking to obtain sources to provide general radiologist services. The general radiologist(s) must be licensed in the State of Illinois. Estimated workload consists of 16,500-18,000 general diagnostic radiology exams; 700-800 special exams such as barium enema, upper GI, IVP, etc.; 3500-4000 CT exams; 1500-1800 ultrasound procedures; 1500-1700 nuclear medicine procedures; and MRI procedures. Some interventional skills to include CT guided biopsy and/or ultrasound biopsy. VA IHCS will require radiology services 40 hours per week, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with on-call every other weekend and some overtime. Minor administrative work to include tumor board, surgical case review, and occasional presentation at grand rounds. This is not a request for competitve quotes. It is a notice to obtain possible sources that have the capacity & capability of providing on-site @ VA IHCS the radiology services described.
