Description

The U.S. Forest Service has a project for complete repair of slide areas on Sugar Cove Rd (NDFS#1188) and Licklog Rd (NFSR#1188A) in McDowell County, North Carolina. The successful bidder will provide all equipment, labor, materials, tools, supervision, including safety and other incidentals necessary to complete the project. The work consists of the following: escavation of sloughed cut/fill slopes, cutting and removing trees, stumps and brush from Forest Service Property. Removing and installing new culverts, reconstruction of broad based dips, hydro-seeding and mulching disturbed areas, blading and tailgate spreading aggregate surfacing. This project shall be completed in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway projects and special project specifications (FP-03 Specifications). The solicitation will be awarded by Sealed Bid. The NAICS code is 237310 and the size standard is $28.5M. This solicitation is unrestricted pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database as perscribed by FAR 52.204-7.
