- This is Modification number 7 to the synopsis issued on October 21, 2004 entitled Flight Critical Systems Research (FCSR). Modification number 1 announced the issuance of the Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) for FCSR. Modification number 2 announced the anticipated release date for the Final Request for Proposal (RFP). Modification number 3 announced a revision to the anticipated release date for the Final RFP. Modification number 4 announced the issuance of the Final RFP. Modifications 5 and 6 announced the issuance of Amendments 1and 2 respectively. The purpose of this notice is to announce that Amendment 3 to the Final RFP is now posted. The purpose of Amendment 3 is to revise the due date for submission of the Past Performance Questionnaire and Volume III- Past Performance and; revise an incorrect reference to the Cost Forms Attachment Number. Offerors shall submit Volume III, Past Performance, on or before JANUARY 26, 2005, and shall submit the remaining volumes of the proposal on or before FEBRUARY 7, 2005. The Government does not intend to pay for any information received regarding this solicitation. Any questions/comments from prospective offerors shall be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist, Krista Y. Jensen, by e-mail at Krista.Y.Jensen@nasa.gov, or via fax at 757-864-7898. Please use the reference number NNL0575073R. Telephone questions will not be accepted. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the internet at FedBizOpps (URL- http://www.fedbizopps.gov ) and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service Web Sites (URL- http://prod.nais.nasa.gov ). It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site(s) for the release of the final solicitation and amendments.
