- 34--Solicitation is to establish a contractor managed tool inventory program at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, NH. The contract shall be awarded for one year with four option years. The successful offeror shall maintain a government-owned automated tool dispensing system by replenishing a variety of metalworking tools on a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly basis. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation shall be issued and shall include a list of the required tools. The Request for Solicitation number is N00102-05-R-1102 and incorporates provisions and clauses effective through Federal Acquisition Circular 2004-26 with changes effective 12/20/04 and DFARS current as of 12/15/04, inclusive of DCN 20041215 effective 12/15/04. This requirement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. The prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database p! rior to award. The website for the CCR database is www.bpn.gov/ccr/scripts/index.html. The solicitation will be posted and available only on the web at www.neco.navy.mil on or about 8 February 2005. All offers shall be submitted in writing; electronic offers are unacceptable.
