Description

The Maritime Surveillance Aircraft Group (PMA-290) of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) located at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland intends to award a follow-on contract and place a class of orders under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), N00421-05-G-0003 with Rockwell Collins Government Systems, 350 Collins Road, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 52498. The existing BOA was negotiated on a Sole Source basis with Rockwell Collins, Government Systems, in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The services and supplies to be procured from the contractor include, but are not limited to, non- recurring engineering, sustaining engineering and hardware procurement in support of the MFD-255P Electronic Flight Displays (EFDS), CP-255P Control Panel EFDS software and EFDS interfaces (EFDS System), CDU-7000 and related avionics systems that support requirements of the Communications, Navigation, Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) Program for the United States Navy P-3/EP-3 aircraft, as well as Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers and other Government Agencies.
