- THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued by the MAE Engine Division of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC/MAE). OC-ALC/MAE is interested in seeking sources with an approved process that is FAA (DER), OEM or Air Force Qualified Repair to enable OC-ALC/MAE to achieve the goal of complete organic overhaul and repair capability for the F108/CFM 56-2A/B HPT Rotor Blades. The Contractor shall be able to supply OC-ALC/MAE with all of the technical knowledge and/or fixturing requirements needed to enable OC-ALC/MAE to perform a complete repair on the F108/CFM 56-2A/B HPT Rotor Blades in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (FOR A COPY OF THE PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT PLEASE CONTACT MARGARET WRIGHT AT (405)739-5495 OR Margaret.Wright@tinker.af.mil). A Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) would be beneficial for budgetary purposes. All potential offerors should provide information that supports their qualifications for this effort. This request for information is NOT a contract; or a request for proposal; or a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXIST AT THIS TIME. OC-ALC/MAE will NOT assume liability for costs incurred by any offeror for any data offered for examination; therefore, the cost of preparing information in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government. The Government reserves the right to review and use data at its own discretion. Upon request, OC-ALC/MAE, will protect proprietary information from unwanted disclosure.
