- Description
- The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) has a requirement for leasing a tractor and trailer including maintenance for leased tractor and trailer and STVHCS owned tractor and trailer. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions, therefore the offerors initial quotation should contain the best terms from a price and technical standpoint. The Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if determined necessary by the Contracting Officer. This will be at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. All responsible sources may submit a quotation providing they are classified as a small business in accordance with North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) listed herein. The government anticipates making a single award to the most highly qualified offeror, however the government in accordance with the solicitation reserves the right to make multiple awards. This solicitation is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.102. There will be no written solicitation made available. Facsimile, telephone, or e-mail requests for the solicitation or quotations in response to the solicitation will not be accepted. The solicitation will be available on or about February 1, 2005 at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Prospective offerors are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation, if any at the URL listed above. This solicitation is prepared in the commercial item format and is consistent with FAR Parts 2 and 12. In addition, it is specifically noted that this procurement is being conducted under FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program using simplified acquisition procedures. NAICS code 532120 applies. The size standard is 21.5 million.
