- Description
- The scope of this project includes (but is not limited to): (1. provide/install concrete equipment pads, (2. Provide/install two each DX HVAC units, (3. Provide/install miscellaneous mechanical HVAC upgrades including, but not limited to pumps, valves, etc. (4. provide/install new hot water piping with insulation, (5. remove existing pneumatic control system and replace with direct digital control systems, (6. Provide/install replacement power panel MDPE and associated feeders, (7. Provide/install back-up power system during panel replacement (8. complete testing, balancing and certification of mechanical, fire alarm and electrical systems. This project will be awarded using a best-value procurement process called PIPS (Performance Information Procurement System), Under this process, the awarded will be made to the "best-valued" contractor based on performance and price, and not solely on the lowest cost. Offers will be prioritized based on past performance history, price, and current performance capability, risk assessment, and key personnel interview. Interest firms must RSVP on or before February 22, 2005 via Email to c.o.shepard@faa.gov. A(MANDATORY) educational meeting and site visit will be held (Time and date to be announced). RSVP Shall include, name of your firm, a point of contact, complete address, voice and fax number. Independent Government Estimate: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000
