Description

Perform cadastral surveys and boundary maintenance on each district on the National Forests in Alabama, which includes the Bankhead, Conecuh, Oakmulgee, Shoal Creek, Talladege and Tuskegee Ranger Districts. It should be noted that the anticipated work is at least 80% boundary maintenance and firms not interested in this phase of the work need not submit an offer. Surveying projects must meet or exceed the Standards of Practice for Surveying in the state of Alabama. In addition, all survey projects just be Geo-referenced as described in the specifications. The contract will consist of a base year plus four option years. The project area is divided into four zones. Each zone is considered a separate project area and any or all zones of interest must be addressed by proposals to obtain the contract work. The following are identified as the zones in this contract: Zone 1 - Bankhead Ranger District-Winston, Lawrence, and Franklin Counties; Zone 2-Conecuh Ranger District-Covington, Escambia, and Coffee Counties; Zone 3-Oakmulgee Ranger District-Bibb, Hale, Perry, Chilton, Tuscallosa, and Dallas Counties; Zone 4-Shoal Creek and Talladega Ranger Districts-Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, and Talladega Counties; and Tuskegee Ranger District-Macon County. This project is set-aside for small business.
