- All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered for this five-year Indefinite Quantity Contract (one base year and four one-year options). This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The approved sources are Tube Bends Inc. (33830), Kreisler Industrial Corp (05813), Lewis and Saunders Inc. (21890), and United Technologies Corporation (77445). This solicitation is formatted per FAR Part 15 (Negotiations). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in section M of the solicitation. There are 52 NSNs for the 4710 stock class. Item Description: Metal Tube Assemblies. Delivery Requirement is 90-120 days. Unit of Issue: Each. The FOB point is destination and most of the Inspection and Acceptance points are destination however, some NSNs require origin. The solicitation will open on February 14, 2005 and close March 18, 2005. This solicitation will be available on the Internet not sooner than 15 days after the date this notice is published. All NSNs will be available for download on the DSCC Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) under subject heading ?Other DSCC Opportunities?, then ?DSCC Corporate Contract/Tailored Support Solicitations?.
