- HSCG87-05-B-66B000 ? WLBR homeport improvements USCGC MAPLE Cutter Support Team Building at USCG Moorings, Sitka, Alaska. The contractor shall provide all materials, supervision, labor, equipment, transportation and incidentals necessary to perform the following work at U.S. Coast Guard Moorings, Sitka, Alaska. Construct a new approximately 39 by 96 foot, one story, steel framed structure, including shops, toilets, showers, lockers and office, to include, but not be limited to the following: Site clearing and grubbing, site excavation, backfill and importation of new fill materials and aggregate base course, site utilities including sewer, water, electrical, cable TV and telephone which includes site and parking lighting, HAZMAT locker, fuel tank, fencing, gates, paving, and electrical power, reinforced concrete building foundation system and walks, metal building system, doors, coiling doors, metal windows, door hardware, interior construction and finishes, woodwork, cabinets, shop and shower wainscot, fire extinguishers, toilet partitions, lockers and accessories, mechanical systems, and a recycle material locker. Three Additive bid items will also be included for site perimeter fencing including security gate, site asphalt pavement, and HAZMAT storage and recycle material storage buildings. All work shall be completed prior to November 1, 2005. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. This procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236210 and the applicable size standard is $28.5 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responsible small businesses may submit a bid. A firm-fixed-price contract will be awarded. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Solicitation documents, may be accessed for download from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about February 7, 2005) at the following site: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this website. Prospective bidders are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time of bid opening. The technical data package (specifications and drawings) will only be available through a link in FedBizOpps to the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) website. Firms must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and FedTeDS database to be able to access the technical data package. A planholders list will not be available for this project from CEU-Juneau.
