- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into fully competitive negotiation with qualified sources of supply. NAWCADLKE intends to procure four (4) each, Borescope Defect Measuring Unit, P/N V22SCKIT, to be used on the V-22 aircraft. DESCRIPTION: THIS ITEM WILL QUICKLY AND ACCURATELY MEASURE THE SIZE OF A DEFECT OR DAMAGE AND RECORD BOTH AUDIO AND VISUAL INSPECTION RESULTS. ALL COMPONENTS ARE STORED AND TRANSPORTED IN ONE TRANSIT CASE. IT WILL BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FOLLOWING: 1. BORESCOPE, DIRECT VIEW (P/N IF4D5-15) OR BORESCOPE, SIDE VIEW (P/N IF4S5-15). 2. ILLUMINATOR, SET, FIBER OPTIC (P/M ALS-62500-USAF). The contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and consumable supplies to manufacture in its entirety. The Government does not own data rights or technical drawings. The government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price Type contract. All finished Borescope Defect Measuring Units are to be shipped FOB Destination by 28 FEB 2005. In addition, the packing/packaging shall be in accordance with best commercial practices. A Request for Quote (RFQ) will be faxed or emailed upon request. However all requests must be received within 15 days. Responses should reference N68335-05-T-0008. The RFQ will NOT appear on the NAVAIR Homepage. N68335-05-T-0008 will be issued on or about 2 NOV 2004. All contractors seeking award must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contracts cannot be awarded to contractors unless they are registered.
