- Description
- U.S. Special Operations Command has a requirement to modify the existing contract to increase the number of Infrared Exhaust Suppressor deliveries for the MH-47 (IES-47) aircraft from 3 Ship Sets per month to 6 Ship Sets per month. In order to meet this requirement, the government intends to procure additional tooling to increase the production line capacity from 3 Ship Sets per month to 6 Ship Sets per month. The delivery schedule will be determined prior to award. It is the Government's intent to modify this contract on a sole-source basis to Allison Advanced Development Co, Inc. 2059 S. Tibbs Avenue, Indianapolis, IN, 46241-4812 as they retain the data rights and are the sole designer and developer of the IES-47 Suppressor.
