- Description
- The Carderock Division Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Teledyne RISI Inc. The contractor shall provide RP 80 Detonators (188-7042), RP 85 Detonators (188-7080), FS-43 Control Units (188-7440), Firing Modules (188-7441), Continuity Box (188-4851), C-Cables (167-2669-1000). Teledyne RISI Inc. is the manufacture of the above items. No substitutes are acceptable. NSWCCD personnel are specifically certified to work only with these Detonators, and FS-43 Firing Systems and cannot use any other type. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements under the authority of FAR 6.302.1.
