Description

The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to procure on a full and open competition basis the acquisition of enterprise-wide licenses, comprised of the following components: 1) Demonstration and Test Licensing (Alpha Site License), 2)Beta Sites Licensing, and 3) Full Rate Production Licensing for a RIS COTS system for DOD to replace the current Radiology modules of the Composite Health Care System (CHCS(Legacy)), for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs)/TRICARE Management Activity (TMA). This procurement also covers the related integration, configuration, test, training, deployment, checkout, and maintenance services for the RIS COTS product in the DOD and optional for the VA. A single Indefini te Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract is contemplated. The anticipated awarded period of performance shall be one base year with nine option year periods for a potential ten-year contract term. All responsible sources may submit a proposal whic h shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation shall be made available on or about 1 March 2005, to interested parties through the USAMRAA website at www.usamraa.army.mil. Instructions will be given within the RFP to respond to the solicitation el ectronically.
