- Description
- The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to enter into a Sole Source agreement, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and utilizing the Simplified Acquisition method described in FAR 13.106, with Michelle Wolf to provide financial analysis services to the PBGC in connection with (1) reviewing all existing settlement agreements for compliance and (2) perform daily news monitoring of unassigned companies. These services require extension knowledge of PBGC's Corporate Finance & Negotiations Dept. (CFND) process, such as understanding the intricacies of the complex ERISA laws funding requirement, and financial analysis of distressed companies. The Period of Performance is one year from date of the award. The proposed contract is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106 and 6.302-1. This is a notice for intent to award a sole source contract and is NOT a request for proposal.
